Data Recovery Ltd.

Data Recovery Ltd (Adatmentes Kft) deals with problems caused by data losses within our Group. Thanks to our professional background and reasonable prices we have become a significant participant of the Hungarian data saving market during the past couple of years.

The greatest damages in IT are caused by server failures. In case of data storages, process controlling, technologic or slave servers the amount of damage can reach millions of Forints (HUF) per hour. In order to minimize the damages we are ready to start work within 4 hours if necessary.

Due to our professional and hardware background we can maintain any problems for all types of IBM xSeries and HP Proliant servers should those be either logical (RAID system failure, software failure) or physical problems (HDD failures).

We also complete routine administration of your devices under warranty and we also provide help to purchase spare parts for non-guaranteed devices.

Apart from server savings we restore data from HDDs in case of the following problems.

  • Physical failures: these are cases when the problem cannot be solved without opening up the drive - e.g. the device fell off, it got soaking wet, the motor or the writing/reading head broke down. In such cases all necessary intervention is done in a special 10 m2 clean room, filtered out with 1 micron filters. We have manufacturer tested spares (heads, motors) for almost all types of HDDs. Our stock is extended permanently.

  • Electronic failures: A driver can not only break down because of physical failures. Bias, a failed adaptor, lightning, aging or contact problems caused by oxidation all mean threats to our data as well as firmware problems.

  • Logical failures: It is not necessary to have physical failures to lose data. Improper program operation, system bugs, virus infection, accidental or desperate human intervention or deletion can also cause loss of critical data. Our unique programme proved several times to get over this problem.
